Žižek’s Hegel, Feminist Theory, and Care Ethics

This article presents conceptual bridges that exist between the philosophy of G.W.F Hegel and a feminist ethics care. To do so, it engages with Slavoj Žižek’s contemporary reading in concert existing interpretations Hegel’s thought. The goal doing so is to demonstrate how both Žižek selection critical thinkers interpret perspective on nature subjectivity, intersubjective relations relationship subject world inhabits, way can further our thinking care as relational contextualist foregrounds vulnerability condition existence. These readings highlight radical contingency human well subjectivity external world, compatible care’s emphasis particularity, fluidity, interdependency relationships.
